Perfectly interpreted Ansel Adams.
So inspiring, in fact, that I have marked this as a spot-to-stop on my next Bear Lake trek.
And, I agree with Bear - thought this would be blue, too.

Very nice, looks like it could be one of his. Excellent sky, great variety and detail in the mountainside, and perfectly exposed/processed. |

Classic Adams. Deep dark sky, details in the shadows, clouds are spot on. Top 3 for sure. |

beautiful, except for the pine tree on left, which looks over-structured or over-sharpened. |

Beautiful scene, but lacks an exciting/powerful focal point. My eye flits over the frame, but find nothing to rest on. |

Gorgeous scene and details... love the conversion with the dark blacks ... you and AA, both. know how to stop time, breathe, and take in the moment. |

Jealous of the folks who had vistas like this to shoot for this challenge - and any other time. You nailed this one. Well done. |

one of my 2 9's, love the scenery and the way the clouds seem to segue from earth to void. |

Must be a Hahn :)
A wonderful view, but something funky has happened to the tree at lower left. Like the shadows were boosted too much, and it's got that murky, clipped look. |
