 Who doesn't dream of being something more than they are?

I knew I wanted to do a fire capture and originally had a very different idea as to how I wanted to do this...but happy with what I got :-)

Lit teacandle atop a candlestick holder on my castiron woodstove, and a small spray bottle with citronella oil in it, camera set to fast burst on tripod...let's just say there are no mosquitoes in Chateau Snaffles!

pp: shot RAW, crop, minor cloning, vibrance/saturation, some Viveza and sharpening stuff in NIK.

I have to agree with spiritualspatula, this really needed a higher shutter speed. Probably 1/800 as a minimum. I think you had a good idea, and if you had actually gotten a nice crisp image this would have done very well.

Still significant blur and lack of clarity. A faster shutter was needed here.
