loved the soft contrast with the dof! his face and eyes are terrific! wish i'd have seen his trade a bit more.

| I've given this a 7. I love the DOF... and the focus. I wish there were more contrast or more saturation... something to give it some.. "oomph". It's my third choice. Well done. |

| One of my top picks for the challenge. Great portrait and I love seeing the other workers in the background, that really gave the scene depth to me. |

| I like the photo in general, but why so washed out? Bump the contrast and lower the brightness, bam. IMHO |

| Compelling portrait; unfortunately there are no hints as to his vocation - a baker, based on the ball cap? Maybe a curves adjustment would have darkened the image a tad to help emphasize his craggy face and the textures of his facial hair? Still, it earns a ten from me. |

| I can't quite tell what his trade is. Some kind of dairy production, I'm guessing from contextual clues. |
