Commenting as part of my commitment to Team Suck:
I really like the processing. You can't help yourself with the birds, can you. :) |

Great beach scene with the bird and the boat. I like the B&W processing here. |

Awesome. Much more exotic than a seagull... |

That bird is so marvelous... and the obliviousness of the three figures on the beach. Great seeing!!!
I like the high key... maybe a bit soft, but it's consistent throughout so it doesn't detract, IMO. |

A great photo gives us parallels. The out-of-place heron parallels the poses of the phonelookers, I think it’s the awkward armlessness of itâ€Â¦ and mirrors the beaks of the beach chairsâ€Â¦ and of course those blurry shapes in the distance, an abstracter simulacrum. |

Lovely, quirky scene. I love the low resolution. |

Great title, I like how people are taking heron's presence for granted. :-)
Also on the first glance chairs look like saxophones. :-)
Interesting image to look at. |

Everyone shares the beach. Very nicely done. |

Commenting only: I find this a pretty humorous juxtoposition. Well seen and caught. Overall it works pretty well, though I think I might like it better if the girl were looking at the bird, and perhaps with a bit better fidelity. |

The title is correct!! I think they are all oblivious to that bird standing right near them, even the little girl, how strange and surreal. |

Humor elevated to the realm of art. My eye goes first to the little girl, then to the women in the chairs, then to the presumed beach umbrella that generates quite the double take and laugh when finally recognized as a tall thin heron instead. Very fun. |
