This certainly meets the challenge. The composition is quite symmetrical and works well with the subject. Perhaps a tighter crop, though, and lightening up the image, would allow more detail to be evident in the stained glass. But just lightening might be enough. Because the surroundings do support the subject....Just some thoughts.
The colors are lovely, just a bit dark.
Overall a good subject that needs a little work.

Awesome. Wish there was a ittle more light so we could see the details in the window, especially the top round part of it. Wonder what the signifigance to this window is. It's beautiful. And not many of these around anymore. Lighten the photo just a little more and I personally would be thrilled. |

Bright, colourful stained glass. The subdued colours of the surrounding walls, etc. sets that off well. It's a little busy, however. |

I like the composition you used of including the area surrounding the window even though it is pretty dark on my monitor. The window itself is awesome, I would have been so tempted to do a closeup of some of the window details; I imagine that it could be breathtaking. |

You were headed in the right direction. Either to zoom on the stained glass, or, boldly walk up closer for your photograph. Good effort. |

Great window. Looks like it could've used a little more exposure. I'm not real sure of the crop either. I think it couldve been cropped tighter. This might've taken care of some of the exposure issues. I think that the way this scene has been shot, the more exposure would bring out the church a little more. - Inspzil |

Good job. Must be a prett long exposure. They're usually hard to take because of the low light. Good luck. Jacko |

why did you include the dark areas and not just put the windows in the photo, or, lighten up the rest of the photo in post processing? i think you lost some of the effect by combining the dark room with the window. |
