You could almost put some words in the thought bubbles, is this an argument or some fun banter, bumping up. |

Three great expressions and terrific tones. A feeling of being harassed. |

Terrific photo-journalism, full of emotion and movement. Beyond that the viewer has no idea what it's all about, so it stands alone as emblematic of whatever drama she/he chooses. Turmoil without context, the viewer is activated without knowing why. Not really to the point, but I wonder if the photographer is moving forward or backpedaling. |

this photo is almost too successful. It almost solves itself. The people in the background are perfect foils for the beautiful protagonist, who seems about to confront them. I almost forget that I have no idea what is actually going on. This could easily be a still from a movie (in square format). Yes, that's it. It's like a grainy Cindy Sherman photo, but I don't think it's set up. But it could be.
I'm hanging this in my fantasy gallery

This looks rather ominous, like everyone is fleeing from something. A scary scene especially in this time. The DOF is just right with just a little bokeh in the background and great tones. Nicely done. |

10 seconds after it happened.. Run away or run closer? We are so ready to watch a spectacle. The image illustrates the problem beautifully. |

Great profile and movement, the aggressive nature of the scene is tangible and enhanced by the clenched fist, looks and feels like England or Ireland, whatever a great photo it is. |

This has a wonderful mix of street spontaniety and Ubiquely ambiguity. There exists the possibility of dynamic interaction among the three women but we have no inkling of what it is, which leaves the miind to meander endlessly around the possibilities. 10 |

Just beautiful tones, and bubbling with spontaneity. The photograph at first looks like a negligent snapshot, but even if that's what you tried to do I'm afraid that your commitment to your craft showed through. There's too much skill and instinctive judgement evident here for you to get away with pretending that you don't care. A lovely living photograph: fun for hacks like me, but also instructive for more serious photographers. You're pretty good. Thank you. |
