 I am a glutton for punishment.

The day before the challenge ended, I was taking some photos of my girls. Turned out adorable. But I wasn't shooting in JPEG, so none were usable.

I didn't get any chances the next night. But then just before bed, I had the itch. The itch to enter. I formulated an idea, and went to work. I took about 30 shots, and this one, the very first one I took (after I was setup and metered the scene), was my favorite.

After doing center composed, I started sitting to the side. Then I moved the lights from behind me to one above and a reflector.

In the end, this straight on shot with decent balance won my eye.

To setup, I had two strobes in soft boxes behind me. That created the wall of light. Then I held a reflector in front of me. I set the time, and took the shot.

I've entered a few self portraits lately. I wonder if I will be recognizable to voters.
