 Shot late in the evening at the night market in YongHe city, Taipei. Usually it's crowded as hell. Because of the rain, only few will go out for a late snack. I always have the camera with me and took this shot after work at 10 pm .

I think that converting it to b&w made it stand out more. This is the original color version

Fantastic shot, Georges. There are plenty of images I admire on DPC, but this is one of those that I looked at and thought, "I wish I had taken this one." Nicely done. Congrats on the ribbon, the PH blue, a new personal best, and a beautiful image.

Thank you all for the nice comments and the high votes, I get 3 of my goals for 2015 with this picture (beat my personal best, a blue ribbon, and above 7) I feel extremely happy getting the posthumous blue, too.

My favorite of the challenge. Beautiful capture of the rain, and I loved all the lights and darks in this image. I also thought the composition with the two girls with umbrellas really worked well to emphasize the concept of rain.

Love this one, it has to be the WINNER surely! The conversion to black and white was an excellent choice, this was the shot I would of loved to have done, but the rain only came yesterday!

My fav for this challenge. Perfectly composed and balanced, good choice of shutter speed for the rainy mood, good DOF just emphasizing the foreground...masterpiece !
