i don't really like selective coloring. But the shallow DoF of this picture helps to sell it. I find myself wondering what this pic would look like if it were fully b/w or fully color.
For me it would be a pedestrian flower shot if it was all b/w or all in color.
So, well done finding a way to use this technique to make an overdone subject more interesting. Nice framing as well. |
