This should have been straighten at the very least. And the black & white conversion of the background isn't working here for me. it needs to be either softer or sharper. Its kind of getting undefined.

I like the selected desaturation here. Tells a story well. It does appear to need some rotation or some lens correction to straighten out the edges, but it could be an optical illusion.
