hmm, usually the foreground should be more lit than the background, don't know if this was the effect you wanted, but eh, can't diss the kid. |

An excellent capture, although it would be even better if the child's face was brighter and the background a bit darker... |

Nice portrait of the child. Did you consider a tighter face shot ? the foreground is a little distracting with so much going on in the background. The child is almost lost. |

I love how you concentrated on the positive aspect here, yet very clearly showing the "poverty" part, as well. The amount of blur is just right to let the subject stand out, yet still make out what the mess in the background is. Great shot! |

Would like to see different lighting. More light on the baby's face and less on the garbage pile. Good representation of the challenge |

Nice photo, I think that the child needed to be lightened up, maybe with fill flash. |

I guess this is an all too amilair scene in this part of the world, I like this image but it apears a little flat and needs to be lofted a little fill flash could have helped. |

Good capture but wish better quality. Also the main subject is darker then backround...thats not best way. But its nice picture... i like his simple natural smile. |

Nice shot. Nice placement and framing of the kid and garbage. Poor guy, tell him he can come over to my house for supper. 6 |

Nice expression. But with the bright background, the kids face could use a little fill flash. - 8 |

Aww. This is very sad. Cute kid. I wish the lighting on the kid were a bit better, but still very emotional shot. Excellent choice for the challenge. ~Heather~ |
