Ok, I admit this was one of the shots I was considering for the windows/doors challenge... but what the hay, it's square!

I like the simple tones and easy on the eyes composition. A hair bright on the roof but that's liveable in my books. I would have cropped out the brown driveway to give the semi illusion of dangling teeth. But if the bottom brown works for you to give stability to the lower image section that is cool too. A nice comfortable image that settles well with a mug of hot cocoa.

Good composition, nice mood. The subject doors are a little dull. Shooting snow is hard and easily fools the exposure system in the camera - might try to shoot snow with one f-stop smaller.

Only problem I can see is your photo is not perfectly level. My tripod has a level on it. Worth investing in. Still a good photo.

Was this an outtake for the windows challenge? lol. What works really nice here is the symetry (doors, roof, walls), that's why I'd crop our the street. Would make for a more effective picture. Good luck. Jacko. 7

With this orientation, you should have gotten much closer than you did. The road in the foreground is not parallel with any other line and thus detracts from overall composition.

Good symetry. I like how the doors are centered in the image. The lighting throghs off the picture a bit. It makes it a little dull, but all in all a good representation of squares.

A nice trio of squares, but I think it would have a little more impact if you crop the road out of the frame, so you just have clean snow below the doors.

Like all of this but not the crop. The bottom brown dirt could go. Neat shot, good find.

The snow takes your eye off the subject. Tracks going into the garage would have help bring the eye in..
