 So excited this finished well!

When I was shooting these dragon-flies in NC, I couldn't help but try to dream up a way to fit them into the latest challenge. It occurred to me that the reed or whatever they kept landing on could be combined with a light-pole.

So it was just a matter of finding a light-pole without any distractions behind it (not easy unless I headed toward th lake - fortunately the lake is less than a mile from my house. I did a bunch of goofy shots of myself but this was the only one that seemed realistic and made the insect look really large. Turned out the backgrounds were pretty different and I didn't want to mess around too much trying to make them the same - enter monochrome! =)) I added the texture to bring them together more and decided to keep it very obvious that they were 2 hastily combined images. The slight rotation was due to last minute editing but I just left it.

Fantastic and humorous capture of the running man and the interaction with the giant dragonfly...how on earth did you work this one out, was the running man a candid or set up, it's almost too good to be true.
