I DID try to teach them to clean up after themselves... but I also gave them freedom in their own room...

Perhaps, in retrospect, that was a HUGE mistake.

Youngest is home from college for the Summer... *sigh*

This brought a big smile to my face. I was happy to know I was not alone in this predicament. I love all my kids, but I don't necessarily love the state of each room. Nicely captured slice of the culture.

With my brother, we called it the walk-on closet. For Christmas one year, we gave him a package of hangers. Didn't work.
