 Very happy to get the blue on this one, although it's bittersweet since we didn't advance.

Big congrats to In The Works for advancing! This DPL has been a lot of fun, and it was great to get to work with the amazingly talented photographers on my team for the past 2 months. Go Hit Squad!

To shoot this, I borrowed a shopping cart from one of the several markets that are within walking distance of my building, then I took it to my parking garage, strapped my tripod sideways to the back of the cart, and took 5-second exposures while spinning the cart in a circle.

I tried lots of different ways to make my background streaky while keeping the cart sharp, and the spinning way by far the most effective.

I was on the road for 3 weeks, so I didn't get to play as much as I wanted. I only had a phone on which to view images and one night at a gas station to upload my cart. So I'm really late commenting.

What a great shot!! I was so curious to see what this would look like on a large screen. It didn't suffer in translation. Awesome on a phone, and awesome on the screen! Congrats on the blue. And you guys were a scary team to go against. What talent!
