Finally got out the evening-of to try and shoot a street view. Had entirely forgotten the "weird" component of the description. And it was raining. A LOT that week. So then I went to process at home, and was ready to enter the "street" here, when I read the description.
Yeah, I "read the description" as I prepared to enter my image :-(
So I thought "Oh shoot, how can I pep this up?" And suddenly it came to me;
Just a couple days earlier I'd been shooting Boomer (neighbor's dog) for the Pet Portrait challenge, and Boomer's a squirmy little ball of fur, so I had a LOT of OOF shots. The a7r is a great camera but it doesn't focus all that fast. I had some sharp ones too. I wanted to put Boomer in the road.
So I checked 'em out, and I saw this one, and the finished product came to me in a blaze of inspiration. 5 Minutes of masking, giggling all the way, penny asking me what on earth is so funny, and voila!
