Beautiful. I think I would have preferred a closer crop - little bit less of the water on the bottom of the photo. |

A simplistic looking shot but works well. The colurs reflected in the water are wonderful. You've done right I think by not centralising the bird but, I'm still not sure that the composition is right? Somehow it seems to be lacking, like there is something more to see, I'm not sure how it could be improved because of the lack of other elements in the shot.
I would try, (if you haven't already) moving the bird around in the frame. That's assuming you have a wider image to play with. Maybee more detail in the bird would improve it?
Well done though a striking image. |

Great silluette on a perfect background. I like that the bird is swimming into the image. The ripples are very nice touch. I wish I could see a catch light in the eye. Very well captured. |

Love the silk of the water, the colors and the duck. On my monitor the front blue looks a bit pixilated. Still a great shot - 8 |

I think the frame would be much more "correct" if the bottom was cropped so that there's just as much of it as headroom, maybe even slightly less. The current format, especially with the patter starting to get blown up, seems like a sort of vaccum the eyes get sucked into. |

I love the colors in the water and how you did not place the bird in the center. Great compisition. I give you an 8. |
