nice angle and composition, but that filled-in looking door on the brown building gives it more of a feeling of a casino or a Disney building than something really 'old'

One of my favorite photos so far. Great colors, excellent composition, and awesome idea. Nicely done.

My stomping grounds too!! I really liked the composition of this photo. Nice job!
04/27/2002 08:38:00 AM
nice contrast in textures and emotions
04/26/2002 09:05:00 PM
exceelllent focus.
04/26/2002 07:55:00 PM
it almost doesnt look real. i like it!
04/26/2002 04:51:00 PM
It's an interesting photo but rather than a transition I see two contrasting styles.
04/24/2002 06:34:00 PM
Great capture of transitions. I like that this example of transition is not staged or setup, but found by paying close attention to things around you. Good job!
04/24/2002 02:09:00 PM
Very sharp transition from old to new. I like it.
04/23/2002 10:04:00 PM
Old and new. Very good. You'd never see this where I live.
04/23/2002 07:32:00 PM
Interesting subject. Fits the topic well. Excellent reflections, great focus, sweet shot!
04/23/2002 05:09:00 PM
Looks more like new muscles in on old...
04/23/2002 04:55:00 PM
Interesting picture. Clear focus. Good transition.
04/23/2002 12:52:00 PM
excellent example
04/23/2002 11:49:00 AM
nicely composed
04/23/2002 10:23:00 AM
Nice contrast of buildings here. I'm not sure I like the angle for this subject though. The tiled brick on the right doesn't seem to really belong in the shot. A head on of the glass and brick on the left, I think, might've left a stronger impression.

Nice image,

I like this shot! It's crisp, clear, well composed... excellent work!

interesting idea, though lacking in creativity
04/22/2002 07:59:00 PM
Very interesting shot, good focusing
04/22/2002 07:16:00 PM
Can we say poor architecture? Please tell me those are not attached!!! However, back to the matter at hand ... nice photo, it sure got my attention!
04/22/2002 04:45:00 PM

This photo is awesome and shows the theme well. I like the blues in this photo the best.
04/22/2002 12:35:00 PM
good shot.
04/22/2002 12:02:00 PM
I liek the contrast and the colors, but the composition seems to lack a specific subject.
04/22/2002 10:38:00 AM
I like how there is a median aged building in the reflection
04/22/2002 10:32:00 AM
Nice shot, I especially like the deep blue reflections in the windows at the top left.
04/22/2002 09:49:00 AM
Nice transistion line between the buildings. Composition could have been stronger: some ideas - 2 thirds one building, 1 third the other. Or maybe the transistion line set up as a diagonal line across the frame - this just seems a bit haphazard or random as it is.
04/22/2002 07:57:00 AM
Great picture.
04/22/2002 07:55:00 AM
this isn't too bad, a little on the boring side though.. but then again, transition is hard to make exciting
04/22/2002 07:08:00 AM
Great idea for the theme, and perfect execution!
04/22/2002 06:14:00 AM
Good contrast of styles, but doesn't show transition.
