I had a fascination with this image. I couldn't but help feel that he would fall off his bike with catastrophic consequences! |

Had it higher than all, good work John! Surprised it wasn't TT at the least. |

This image has caused me to stop and pay attention. That means it is in my 7-10 voting band. (Voted earlier)
Additionally, it is highly interesting/eclectic meaning it keeps me here long enough to offer a longer comment and a vote of 8 or more.
This is one of my 10s - I like it very much. Furthermore I think it enriches the DPC collective portfolio. Put simply, I wish we saw more stuff like this. Let me tell you why it pushes all the right buttons for me:
1. Fantastic tones
2. The jagar characteristic smooth glow / sharpness combo - I haven't seen that since you moved away from from your Fuji
3. Fantastically engaging subject
4. Really super composition
5. Perfectly judged vignette / edge burn
Overall this an amazingly image that transports us elsewhere.

Even though this looks extremely uncomfortable, this young man manages to stay quite calm, he's on a mission to deliver the fridge, maybe to someone who is in desparete need of one or maybe it's for him and the beer he'll have when he gets home.
Leading lines everywhere and a lady to the left with a cool hat. Bumping up, delightful.
This is my top pick. All the best. |

That's the stuff. So easy to look at - unless you are the photographer maybe. I love the hint of a smile I am getting from him.

For this genre, it's extremely well done. I am just not too into verloaded bike photos. |
