Taken for the rain challenge. This was the entry:



I loved the catch on this one, but the rain didn't look as rainy.

I lucked out because I was under an overhang, but I felt so bad for the osprey. At least smaller birds can nest in trees with leaves. The osprey pick platforms, telephone poles, dead snags, things out in the open. At least they're more of a spring/summer bird! (The eagles nest earlier and look even more miserable on eagle cams!)

I did really like this one, too. I loved the drops hanging at the end of the branches that draped down. But they weren't that noticeable on my big screen, so I figured they'd be totally lost on laptops.
