I wish you'd stacked the focus so that all of each leaf was sharp as the example photographer does.

But... the voters disagreed... and I like the image!

I think adding a thick border is not really adding a value but infect it is loosing a lot of good aspect of photograph. Otherwise it would have been one of my choice in this category!
