Well... The only reason that I'm on DPC right now (and why I entered the light on white challenge) is because I'm out of yarn for the two different afghan's on which I'm working. The store ran out of the rose colored yarn for one afghan, so I started another afghan until that yarn came in. I should be buying it by the afghan full to match lot numbers, but that's too much of a sticker shock, so I buy it as I go, so the hubby doesn't notice as much.

Oh, I'm currently at 6.6 with three days left to go. If I'm above 6.5, I'm going to have to explain how it is that I'm getting a high score on a recognizable self portrait.
I mean... you guys should know by now that I do superbly when when it's a blurry, abstract, weird self portrait. But get about a 5.5 when people can actually see my face. Not a reflection on negative voting -- just a reflection on my face, I'm sure! ;)
Anyway, my husband told me the secret. And if I'm at 6.5+ at the end, I told him I'd reveal the secret in the comments...
Ummm... I can't tell if I want the score to go up or down!

Down to 6.37 and still dropping. Hah! The embarrassing secret stays safe with me. I really didn't want to explain it, anyway, because I don't think the husband's theory is correct. I'll have to try it again sometime to test the theory. :)
(By the way, I took a 3 minute break from the Afghan to type this. Back to crocheting!

I just got into crochet, and must admit, this photo has so much more meaning now, lol. I want yarn, just to have it. So far I've only made a frog hat from a kit I bought, but I'm working on my first baby blanket from a pattern I made myself. So much yarn to choose from!
