Greetings from the Critique Club!
Very nice and simple shot that meets the challenge beautifully. I also like the lacy look of the round petals; I think those on their own are more than strong enough to carry the shot. The darker stalks with the dark seedheads probably got some voters to vote this lower, thinking that there weren't enough light-coloured elements in the shot to satisfy them. Can see no other reason why it placed out of the top ten.

| A simply elegant composition capturing the delicate nature of the dried plants in the vase. Love the delicate and 'lacy' look of the leaves that capture the light. |
