 My son posed himself here and said, "Take my picture, mom, and make sure you get the whole area."
He and daddy had recently finished up building this little shade house for our potted plants and he was quite proud.

He had also made the shovel from an old piece of bamboo and a broken kid spade. He's said for ages that he wants to be a builder and a fixer :)

I was horrified and extremely sad to learn that adding the dirt to my subject's body was a no-no, so I had to turn myself in. My photo was doing so well (for me, at a 5.8)!

I actually thought it was a great image. Pity the dirt wasn't added before taking the photo! :)

It's a delightful piece and one you and your son and husband will always enjoy. I'd print it big, frame it, and hang it myself.

I really love this high contrast look of a child wanting to do what his daddy also possibly does, enjoying the garden at young age is an awesome and wonderful experience for any child.
