If your subject for MACRO was the whiskers then you should have shown more of that instead of a full cat shot. Good try none the less. |

USM would stop this looking so soft, but altho the title points to the whiskers, in my opinion there is no focal point. If we could see an eye or something it would be better. |

Without your title, I might not have known what your intended focal point was. It's generally good to frame your subject using the rule of thirds, but also good to use depth of field to illuminate it as well. |

The title indicates the whiskers are the subject, but they're off to the side, half cropped off, with a blurry foreground. Maybe focus in more on the whiskers next time or try and shoot without the distracting foreground. |
