A visit from the critique club :)
Overall I like this photo. It's nothing super special but I think it's pretty good.
Things I particularly like: The depth of field is perfect, the background is blurred but everything you intended to be in focus is. Focus is good. Could use a pass in the unsharp mask to make it a notch sharper. The drops of water add a nice touch to the flower. The shadows give it good depth. I think my only complaint is the lack of light. It looks a tiny bit dark. I think a slightly longer exposure would make this a much stronger image. (Assuming you don't eliminate the shadows of course).
Overall a good image and it definitely meets the challenge. |

Lovely. I like the slight imperfection on the large petal on the right. That told me it's real! |

Beautiful peach rose. Leave off the water. Tops as it is. The beauty is in the rose. Background should be totally black or real soft light color. This could be a beautiful piece of art. Well done. Really nice focus and cropping. Perfectly shaped rose in perfect condition. Nice one. The more I look the better I like this. Also decided the background should be solid the color of the botom right corner or soft light color. Had to up the score to a 10. |

The flower is sharp. The water drops give it a good touch. Nice work. |

Great shot. Nice sharpness. Not too much DPF so that the whole rose is in focus. Water droplets are nice. Background is good, not too dark but well out of focus to not distract. My only problem is the lighting. Not enough to really bring out the flower and it's colours. |

I believe the colours should be brighter by approx. +0.7 to 1.0 EV. Full marks for sharpness though. |

Yup. Very cliche. Well done. I like the water droplets. Not crazy about the grey surrounding it. I think it would work better with a tad more lighting - esp in the top right. 8 |
