This is a really nice shot. What would have made it a great shot, and in my opinion, a ribbon contender, would be if you had applied the rule of thirds to the horizon line. In other words, cut the sky down so the horizon line was 2/3 up the photo. Still, a 7 from me |

now THIS, I like (not too many i like in this challenge so far). I think you pushed the saturation a bit too far. It looks great on the leaves, but makes your shadows really noisy on the left. a little selective desat or burning on the hills would clean that up nicely.

This looks overly compressed. You can use up to 150K for this image, this only
is a bit over 18K. |
