I like the perspective, but you may have also tryed a lower perspective (like right next to the water). I think the lighting is a bit harsh as well, but I don't know what time of day you were able to shoot this (or how often). IIdeally, for me, it would be a slow exposure shot right down next to the water with sunset glinting off the snow and water. But of course, I shouldn't judge the image by what it could be, but by what it is. I do like it though, well done =). 6

This conveys the month, but it just isn't interesting enough, I can't find the focal point in this photo very interesting, beeing the creek. Maybe if you woul have placed your camera all the way down to the ground on the ice, and having the treetops in the frame you should then have a much more interesting photo imo.

Lovely shot for a calendar. Difficult to get exposure right on snow... perhaps a polarising lens filter? (Yeah, wish I had one of those too!). I might have set the frame a little higher to include just a few more complete tall trees, but not so much as to detract from the center piece depicting the season so well. 7.
