This is a nice photo. Reminds me of an old bulb that's hanging in a dark basement somewhere.

I think this would have been much better turned 180 deg. Nice capture.

I like this shot a lot. Good delicate balance of dark and light.

Great macro good color and sharpness. You cartured everything including the scratches and fine lines in the glass. While impressive from a photo graphic stand point. Its just not very interesting as a poster to hang on a wall. Keep Up the great work

That's a nice, older looking light bulb.. have you tried this shot in sepia, or just a little 'dirtier' or noisier? I think taking some color out or adding some graininess would enhance the aged look. Still a lovely shot overall..

I like the detail on the glass, it makes a change from seeing nice shiney clean bulbs.

Definately a close up. I'm not sure if it is an 'extreme' close up or not, but looks close enough for me. The photo is well taken, the light inside isn't TOO bright as we often see in bult/candle shots. While it does add something different to the shot, I'm not sure I like the dust? around the bulb. Seems like a distraction to me. My brain tells me that this should be a crisp/clean shot. The background is nice, nothing distracting there. ~Heather~
