 A drop from a dripping faucet.

I took quite a lot of pictures of the dripping faucet. But only one - this one - had captured the formation of the drop. It was pretty fun shooting it while using the toilet as a chair.

I learnt a few things while shooting. One being that the water drops reflect any light they can catch - mirrors, faucet, other water drops in the sink, etc.

I hope you enjoy this shot!

Thank you all who voted and especially the ones who commented. I am happy to just make the top 20 in this huge challenge.

I wasn't expecting to do this well so I am very pleased. I know that this image is far from perfect, but I couldn't not to enter it into the macro challenge. In response to the focus comments - I can only say that what you're seeing is some motion blur. Good eye!

This is a beautiful shot. I think you could have improved it by cropping out the top but technically its spot on, well done

I love this shot. I love the dramatic contrast of light and dark. Very cool, and awesome timing on the forming drop.

The black and white looks very effective, but the drip seems to defy gravity. I would have rotated it to make it vertical.

the focus seems to be in the middle of the drop, the image would have been perfect if the focus where on the end of the drop.
