Striking picture the second it appeared on the screen. it immediatly looked like a mecahanical insect/bug Brilliant. It was a shame put the staples did look a little "posed". I use a three screen setup - all profiled - and tried looking at it side by side with a few adjustments to pulling the histogram around - to give it more punch

Nice shot of a kind of boring subject. It's well taken but the subject doesn't work for me.

great point of view. I love the devoured staplers strewn about the bottom of the frame! funny. nice job.

Creative shot--suggest a flatter angle to see more of the "shark"

Fun shot. Great focus and clarity. The angle and framing/cropping are great too. I really like the shadow for some reason. Background is perfect, nothing distracting there. And DOF is right where I like to see it. I don't see anything that I'd like changed here. Could be more 'extreme' close up, but this is cute non the less. ~Heather~

Very good at "animating" an inanimate object. Good shot.

The arch enemy of Count Stapler?
Evil looking creature both of 'em.

Very good DoF and an interesting photo. I thought it looked like an evil moster or something before I looked at the title, so you succeeded in your message. The only thing I think is wrong is that the middle staple is too close to the edge of the frame.

Really cool shot, I have always perceived this tool as a nasty little biting creature. The lighting is good and the quality of the focus is above most pictures I've seen so far that goes for something this small. Nice!

Love this! I was contemplating using the same subject but didn't. The supporting shapes are perfect. 9
