 Yes this is *Mr Whitesteer*...though I suppose it should now be Ms Whitesteer! This big elderly Charolais cow gave me fabulous shots last fall when I shot her, and am glad that I got so many shots as she bossed her way to the fence line to check me out :-) The air of imperiousness and control in this pic is what made me think she was a he. Either way this Charolais is a commanding presence.

pp: hardly anything apart from crop, blur out the cow behind her, minor vibrance/saturation, desat, silver NIK and output NIK. Done.

An appealing image that contributes well to the challenge

Indeed, most imperious! Ms Whitesteer is so wonderfully appealing I love her, the expression is beautifully disapproving. I like the high key presentation it works really well and the detail in her fur is excellent, a great exposure. The only minor fault that distracts me a little is the shadowy patches between her ear and the background cow perhaps these could be rectified. Nice one Susan, well captured.
