I must have said something that I did not intend to say.

I thought I was saying... that Eve (of the Garden) no longer had to bite the apple... she could just plug herself into it and get her nourishment.

My missed hypothetical sci-fi presentation explains my lower-than-what-I-thought score.

Post Challenge: It's bacon grease! Ha!

I have two silicon baking things.... They line a baking pan and keep things like bacon, fries, etc from sitting in its own grease... so things get crispy.

As it happens, I had baked some bacon and the pan cooled... I pulled off the silicon and found the cool pattern... on the day I was searching for ideas for Sci-Fi.

THANKS for playing my guessing game. I'm sorry it was so weird.

Two different pans of grease made it easier.

yeah, guess it's not correct but was going to say what mquinn said - i've gotten a similar look from regular old window screen, enhanced with a bit of exclusion blending or the like.

Pretty cool! :) I like the concept. Execution is pretty good as well. Nitpicks would be little details about the connector in the neck, the apple on the plate - I just don't like how it's floating at an angle like that and the cable's a little ratty looking. Still in all, this is one of my top picks for it's overall appeal.
