Greetings from the Critique Club! This is a fascinating image, mostly because most wasps are yellowy and black, first time I've seen one with such colouration...so that definitely adds exotic appeal to the pic. At first I thought it was challenging its reflection in a camera lens, but then read your notes. Good idea to rotate the image to make the water look like something else, without losing the impact of the shot. The settings are all spot on, ambient light seems OK and the composition works well in this square format. And for what I believe to be your first entry here, a very respectable placing in a Free Study. Keep up the good work and would like to see more soon,
