Thanks for your votes. The light rays were a fortunate result from a small forest fire burining on an adjacent ridge. This is from the central part of the Sierra Nevada, in my opinion, one of the most beauitful ranges in the world. Glad you enjoyed the image.

Exhilarating image of morning in the wilderness. Deeply invokes the senses -- light, sound, aroma and temperature. The highlighted bank of rocks on the left are like a exclamation point.

Love the sun's rays in the background. If the water was blurred from a longer exposure this would about perfect for me.
