 Me doing the beginner-level hand balancing pose, Crow. What a workout - doing this asana strengthens your arms and shoulders and uses every part of your body. It's done to help strengthen you for more advanced poses like Handstand, which is one of my *goal* poses.

Studio setup using the smaller set of striplights. The reflective surface below me is a large piece of stiff white backdrop material that I sprayed with silver paint. I have hair falling over my face cause I didn't want to bother with makeup, and thought it added to the general freakiness of Dadaism :-)

ETA: I did about 100 Crows over the course of the three days that I shot for this challenge. 95% of the shots were done solo with just the remote timer alone, but on the third evening I was fortunate enough to have my friend Judy over to at as the remote trigger. This shot is actually the last shot from that shoot, as by then I was warmed up enough and able to concentrate more on the pose than trying to sync it with the camera's timer.

Susan as we’ve never seen her before! Nice one, it looks as though your yoga is progressing nicely. I like everything about this and it fits the challenge theme very well. Your hair and the hat adds a lovely sense of mystery to it all. Such dedication 100 crows, wow! Good luck with the handstandsâ€Â¦
