| The heron is perfectly placed, detailed and intense. The background is nicely blurred. Straightforward and compelling. |

| I like the way the subject placement leaves lots of room on the right and adds to the mystery of what's got the bird's rapt attention. |

You can't go wrong with a heron! :)
Something looks a little odd in his coloring. Did you lighten the eye? It seems to really glow where as that side of the face is really quite in shadow. I wonder if lightening and warming the head just a tad would yield a more pleasing result? |
