Nice shot. You framing is perfect.

I like the sepia tone here and the shot is interesting. Where I come from we wear shoes to school.

Perhaps the most unique and interesting image submitted. I really like the tone and composition of this photo. Very nice work!

Very nice. My favorite in this weeks challenge! I like the arrangement of the books, the frame and the legs. I wonder why you didn't crop the small black part of the frame at the top-right though.

not clean enough

Easily my favorite black and white (or sepia I guess).

I had a photo along these lines with my daughter working on her homework but shes a teenager and makes a horrible subject..to self concious to get a natural shot >:-(

Nice focus and overall a quality shot.

I find the door in the background distracting -- I like the tone though

Love the composition and angle and everything - my top vote!

good idea and nice colours. Looking at the photo now, I would have tried using the legs to frame something. Maybe use a flash ... the soles of the feet are also a bit dark

my omly problem with this pic is I'm confused as to what the feet are actually on, is it a glass table or just some frame thingy?
I like it though

I wish i wasn't such a huge fan of monochromatic images... I like the sepia tone here but I actually think that normal b/w may have served this shot better. Sepia usually gives an 'antique' mood to an image and this shot is not an antique subject. I like your challenge interpretation and this is a great photo! Good work!

Very interesting perspective. The sepia tone works very well.

I like the feeling here.

Great sepia coloring! Makes for a very rustic shot.

You did a nice job on getting the color of this photo right; it matches the feel of the image quite well. You also did a good job of getting the subjects well-lit, and filling the entire image with texture - i.e. the hair on the legs, the paper from the pages of one book, and the bumps on the bottom of the other book. Even the wall and door have been captured well, despite their not being the focus of the picture. Great.

Gorgeous.
04/29/2002 10:34:00 AM
very nice angle, and originality.
04/29/2002 09:17:00 AM
not a bad shot, not too interesting either
04/29/2002 08:57:00 AM
Sepia works well here
04/29/2002 08:44:00 AM
I like your use of Sepia tones.
04/29/2002 07:39:00 AM
funny that dont look like b&w to me.
04/29/2002 07:10:00 AM
Oh, I very much like this picture. Nice sepia tones, I like the lines of the rungs of the stool/chair. Not as sure about the door in the background, as the perspective makes it and the corner of the wall to the right tilt, which may be a bit distracting.
