 I was driving via the backroads to the flea market, McHaffie's. I was hoping to find inspiration for this challenge either at McHaffie's, or on the way there....and boy did I ever! I saw a beautiful old '49 Pontiac Chieftain (or Slipstream, I don't remember which the owner said it was) parked in the corner of a field. Saw someone on the property so pulled over, ran down the field and got permission from the bemused owner to take pics. I knew I had found my time machine!

Then once I reached the flea market, everything else fell into place. I found a statuette of Shiva, the yogi's god of transformation...and I found a model tow truck to use for the wheels and suspension. Finally on the way home I found an abandoned old stone farmhouse by the side of the road, and no signs or gates keeping people off, and an old door hanging open...that's the location for the resulting hotrod. Finally, I shot myself at home, clutching a key to the legendary Time Warp.

Greetings from the Critique Club!

Nod to the challenge ... are those clocks I see as the rims? Be sure to set all 4 for the same time or the lack of alignment might tear the space time continuum. I believe the green glow also alludes to the magic of time travel. The selectivity of it seems a bit off (i.e., just grill, some ghostly flames, tires, and key) but I love the idea. To get me to hop in the whole thing better be glowing green. ;) Maybe Shiva should have been glowing?

Lots of creativity in the pieces you pulled together for this picture. Overall I love it. Most of the content is seamlessly blended and definitely creates a realistic composition. Colors and tones are consistent and the dusty/musty atmosphere imply secrets long untold. The only thing that caught my eye was a bit of a halo around your head that hints its a puzzle rather than a scene.
