Greetings from the Critique Club!
Your idea of using a reflection is a good one, but the execution of the idea needs a little work.
The focus isn't real sharp. when I see the brick beside the vending machine that becomes even more evident.
The inclusion of the softdrink cooler doesn't add virtue to the picture. It actually distracts, and competes with the vending machine.
The subject, the vending machine, isn't by nature a very interesting subject, however it could be if focused on a part of it, like the 3 rows of empty circles where snacks have been depleted. If you cropped to that, and perhaps tilted the camera, you'd have an interesting abstract of a repititious pattern. That's just my first idea, although there are others. There is always more than one way to compose an image, and you want to grab the attention of the viewer.
Perhaps a vertical format would have excluded the unnecessary elements.
I'll look forward to seeing your next submission. Enjoy yourself!
Regards,
Grayce |

Needs better focus, even fire switch is not clearly focused. To me this is a snapshot, and not a really good one at that. |

I like the reflection of the person in the candy machine, but the quality of this picture is pretty poor. |

Things to improve on: noise, focus, & composition - try to make what would be an otherwise dull and ordinary candy machine seem interesting |

Very grainy. Waldo found. Not alot of clarity, even the fire alarm is fuzzy.

I still can't see him! Good idea though. Nice focus and range of colors and values. |

Good idea, a little blurry though. I can't seem to find the main focal point. |

That is one hungry Waldo! Look at all those empty spaces in the machine! LOL... nice reflection... it looks like there is a grey film over the entire photo, not sure what caused this... Not extremely attractive photo, this might have worked better as a vertical picture, as everything in it is vertical. Good job of getting "waldo" into the photo. |

I see that ghostly shadow in the pane, but the overall graininess of the image makes it less interesting to me. Good idea, though. |

kind of grainy and not super interesting, but hiding someone in a reflection is a great idea |
