Beautiful image, can't understand why it did not get a much higher rank

Yes, he looks quite angry. Highlights on neck are blown, otherwise nice tones.

Nice composition but some of the feather detail is lost in the highlights.

Great subject, but the overexposure has blown out highlights and lost significant detail in the feathers.

I want to see the cage, trap him in there rather than just suggesting it.

The shadow on the eye (not the cage line shadows, which I believe are probably intentional), is quite distracting for me. Other than that, it's quite a nice photograph.

The highlights are overexposed. I know your title indicates a cage in order to explain the shadows, but I don't care for them.

I like the shadow of the cage in the hawk's head. A very nice way to bring something into your image that's actually not in it.

Bit overexposed on feathers and would like to see more of his neck. Otherwise great.

The cage shadows shown on this wild animal is great. Love the contrasts.

Great capture - a little over-exposed and losing the shadow would probably improve this.

Wow! The clarity is overwhelming and the image is excellent.
