Very nice

I think this would do better with a broader range of values. The subject is great, but there's just so much white.

Confusing! ;)

Amazing shot! Seems a little compressed though, not as high quality as it could be.

A very good photograph in b&w. Used to seeing scenes like this in color. Like the lines presented by the trees. The contrast between light and dark areas is superb. Composition excellent. Impressed me!

wish you had a closeup of one of them - leaving the rest out of focus

beautiful area

thats what i would call a heavily wooded forest. the black and white part plays out well because the trees are so naturally white.9.

Classic subject! Maybe not quite enough ground/foliage to balance all these white trunks. Also, on my 2.2 gamma LCD, the image is a bit too contrasty. But still a 7.

Now that's what I call texture, and I like the density. 8

Wow! Beautiful study in natural lines. The contrast is great, sharpenss and detail is excellent as well. Excellent work!

First thought: woah... *blink*

Interesting idea. Would've been good for the parallel lines challenge. I like the way you can see not just hte ones in the foreground, but also distinguish the ones farther away. This probably isn't under your control, but it just seems that in the whites on the tree trunks, it's washed out and you lose some detail. Outside of that though, stunning (and dizzying) picture.
