Used gradient in transparant mode to cover up imperfections in background. Clone, burn, dodge gb and um. levels and curves. Some clone used to help the cape a little.

This is the general of death from the opera Don Giovani (Don Juan). He (death) comes to take the Don and ask for his repentence. The Don refuses to repent and is taken down with smoke and flames to meet his end.

This is so powerfull :) I regret I didn't vote ... but I had no time :/
It's one of those pictures where I stand and ask myself "Well Jack what could be done better?" and ... I have no idea :) It doesn't need anything else.A very strong shot. Congratulations!

Looks more like Salieri :) I prefer "Beethoven or bust".

While Mozart was a great musician, I have a hard time classifying him as a "hero." Still an excellent photograph regardless.

Great lighting, focus, and overall execution. Not quite fond of the background. And where is the fuzzy wig? ;-)

Very interesting. I like the nice background and the contrast is very dramatic, as is the model's expression. 7

Very imaginative and obviously a lot of work! Mimics in 3-D the poster in 2-D.

Reminds me more of Napoleon than of Mozart.

Interesting repro of the image from Amadeus. I believe that was really Salieri and not Mozart but never mind. I do like this very much.

The guy is rather scarry, but I must score it high for the quality. I see some similarity with the one DVD cover (wasn't that Mozart too?) but still like it very much.
