Wonderful image, I gave it a 9, I amazed that it did not get a higher rank

Thank you all for your votes.
The windmills are named jack and jill and i think they are the last pair of windmills still standing in England.

Outstanding work. Thought it would place even higher.

Not only is this a beautiful subject -- but the geometric shadowing is beautiful.

Awsome shot, like the small windmill in the background, adds alot of depth.

A really nice photograph in b&w. I like the composition, draws one eye to the windmill in the background. Slightly oversharpened, just my opinion. Well done!

Listen, I'm getting sick and tired of all these beautiful windmills photos! Where am I going to find anything to compete with this in Montgomery, Alabama, USA??? Besides a beautiful subject, your dof is great. I like the composition, too. Guess I can't find anything to mark down on this one! :D

Excellent sharpness. The other windmill in the background helps add to the perspective.
