I think this photo was under-rated. I love the mellowness of the tones and lighting. The softness of the sweater and her long hair, and the expression work very well together.

The only thing I would change is to clone out the light color (maybe whatever she's sitting on?) behind the neck of the guitar.

Beautiful composition, cropping and lighting in this shot, Robert. I especially like the beautiful diagonal formed by the "highlighted" edge of the guitar neck and the lighting on the model's hair.

I would move the camera to the right, about 1/4th of the frame. Would make it a less of a symmetric composition and will help get rid of the hand on the left that looks alien as it is. Otherwise excellent.

Very peaceful quality. Your title is good too as strumming is a quieter activity than other ways to play the guitar.

I have seen other duotone shots in this challenge, but this has had the stongest color of them yet. Not technically a "palette of grays" but it isn't a color shot either. It's monocrome. Now I'm in a moral dillemma over voting on this image. Ok: "Awsome shot, but the duotone will bump you down a bit."

I like the lighting, the framing and the contrast of the smooth texture of her skin and the fabric on her shoulder. I don't feel that you captured any emotion from your subject. I think when an artist captures and is able to communicate the emotion of a subject, it makes a photograph transcend the 2-dimensional limits of the frame. That, for me, is the only thing that would make this photo better.

Nice shot. Could use just a little more contrast though. 6

Love this shot. Her right hand does seem to draw me away from her face though.
