COMPOSITION
The composition of this is helped by having three distinct "bands" of color (undergrowth, trunks, greenery), and having an anchor on the left side of the shot. I think you may have been able to crop the sky out, since it is colorless and bland, and helped the overall effectiveness of the picture.

TECHNIQUE
Good focus and use of lighting. The colors in this are very nice as well. The blue of the jacket really jumps out and grabs the viewer's attention. It seems a little pixelated/grainy to me, but that could very well be my monitor (I'm at work), and not your picture.

OVERALL EFFECT
I believe you have met the challenge well. The person is not an obvious part of the picture, but is visible since the blue is so noticeable. Perhaps if they had been wearing a tan or green jacket, they would have been better hidden (but maybe too much so!) Also, it might have been a neat idea (just a different one, not necessarily a better on) if they had been peeking out around a tree instead of standing by it.

Good work, and good luck in the future.

I love the colors in the photo. Very unique and strange woods shot. Not a very good job of "hiding" Waldo. Very easy to spot, standing out clearly in the front of the photo. Strange ground covering. Don't know that I've ever seen a floor of a woods quite like this before. Well done photo.

Very interesting colours. Are they natural or did you photoshop them. Nice effect.

Challenge met, she's leaning against the tree. The blue jacket gives it away ;) Compositionally, I like your photo a lot, all those slim tree trunks all slightly leavning in the one direction. I also like the one you included on the left, close to the viewer, that really gives the photo depth. I probably would've cropped a bit off the top, there's a lot of whitish sky that adds nothing to your photo with it's otherwise nicely saturated colors. Technically, I don't think this photo is as sharp and crisp as it could be. I'm not sure whether you are using a low-end camera that just won't do better with so much detail in the photo, or whether you compressed the photo too much during post-processing. With a detailed photo like this I'd expect you to use all of the available 150k to get the most sharpness.

Good composition here and the challenge has been met. Waldo was easy to find :-) Something about the sky strikes me as being a little greenish, did you enhance the green in the post-processing? I like this photo good job.

Should have used a brown or tan jacket instead.

Person not too hidden but nice shot with interesting coloring.

Not very hidden with that shocking blue jacket! The colors seem overly saturated, a little helps digi-cams, alot makes it seem unnatural, esp. the greens and reds. Grey skys, can't do much about that. 7 Swash

good contrast color, too bad the sky is too plain. maybe if the image is cropped just below the sky?

Nice vivid colours (esp the greens) - but perhaps 'Waldo' is a bit easy to find in this one...

Waldo stands out when wearing a bright blue cost in a brown and green forest. I think it's a nice photo but slightly off topic for the challenge. I do like the colours and the focus is fairly good.

The blue coat complements the earthy colours and strong patterns in the trees - works well

The blue jacket is a bit too bright - a brownish color would have worked better - hiding "Waldo". Oh, if only the jacket weren't blue, you'd get more marks, because I really like the lines and colors in this photo ... except for the blue!!!

I really really like this photo and the effect you achieved with the saturation sharpness and colors. Unfortunately, the person is not well hidden, esp. since they are wearing blue. I think its great though. Where is this?

What a beautiful vista. Your Waldo is nicely placed in the frame.

Challenge met, good shot. Would improve this shot if camera was tilted (or straightened?) to make trees vertical and blue of the sky was more pronouced (using polarizing lens or colour balance).

Good job, I would have hidden my subject a little bit more

striking picture. the colours are gorgeous.
