 Got this idea about 3 hours before rollover.

Watching the second hand racing towards rollover as I type this!!!

So, submitting in a panic clearly doesn't work for me. This might be the sloppiest processing I've ever entered.

Re the idea of cleaning the inside of the bowl... that was my original idea. But I couldn't get the proportions to work. I made the bowl bigger, but then the fish looked weird, either smaller or bigger. And it would need a lot more "stuff" in it or look too empty. In the end I justified this to myself as the overzealous "cleaner" having reached too "deep".

The imperfections that bothered you about the shot actually add to the whimsical nature of the final result and make it better! One of my favorites.

the actual story of this is lost on me ..
i'm wondering what's going on ..
BUT .. thats me .. not you . !! .. ;)
the fact that this is such a visually appealing image .. with a question mark in my mind .. makes it a winner in my eyes ..
i love ambiguous and enigmatic ..
along with the contents of the bowl .. i'm loving to bits that smooth background .. blue into yellow .. :)
