This goes into my favorites. Though I feel I would like this more in color, I cannot resist photos like this, of the shadowed everyman walking alone through the uncaring world with naught but a hat and a bag in which he carries his dignity. That may not be what you were trying to portray, but that is how I like to imagine it. (9)

Nice use of light. This photo has a mysterious quality becuase of the silhouetted figure and almost overexposed floor. 8

This is a very strong image. The contrast between the subject and his surroundings is very eye catching. The textures of the brick also add much interest to the scene. Very nice lines. Too bad for the people in the background, but overall, a very nice photo. Bumping to an 8.

I like the stark contrasts. I find the (figure?) in the background a little distracting

Hopefully you don't get a lot of "rule of 3'rds" comments because the center composition works well here. The other person that blends into the right arm is a bit distracting. Too bad they were there at the time.
