critique club review

this is a nice picture. it's hard to get the relationship to the theme .. either way ..

i think you had some over compression artifacts. and some weird artifacts in the sky and around the red thing.

i like the composition of the strong simple shape in the right third contrasting with the more busy windows.

would have been stronger with no traffic.

nice way to frame the photo with the structure but I think it would have work just a bit more if more of the building was present; showing as a landscape instead of a portrait.

Nicely focused photo. Red is over dominating the other colors and fading into them. I like the statue, or whatever, in the front of the photo. Still searching the windows, roof tops, and background for Waldo. Will upgrade the score 2 points when I find Waldo. Can barely see someone in the black pick-up. there's Waldo, and here's the 2 extra points.

In the black pick up truck? Very clear, vivid photo. I like the artwork, very bold.

OK the thing that ruins it is the black truck because I can see an arm, so you wind up wondering if that's "waldo" or if it's the mystical face in the middle window. :) If the truck wasn't there I'd give a 10 probably. With it, an 8. Good job!

I can' t belive you made me stare at your picture 10 minutes and still don't quite get it.. lol
as a side note, I don't like the redish cast.

I see at least two car drivers here, is one of them Waldo? I can't really make out anyone on the bus or in the windows of that building, no one on the roof but is that someone standing next to the tree on the far right???

I'm not sure I like the colors in this - what you did makes the sculpture look nice and bright but everything else looks a bit too red. Cool pic of the sculpture though

Is this San Antonio ? I think I recognise it from there

I see two people in cars, and can only guess there are more in the bus, plus it looks like someone above the white cars roof on the sidewalk. I think you may have cropped the image a little too tightly around the red "thing".

Hes in the bottom right in front of the tree. Or is he driving the car. You can't have two waldo's! jk. I like this a lot and you did the best job of hiding waldo I think. I like the red and blue tones on everything. I would scratch the blue border though, its going to far with it and overpowers the others light blues in the picture.

Nice job hiding him. I think I see him in the top left window? Aside from that, I find the colours are a little too red. and that the contrast is maybe a little high. Nice composition though.

"hide a person in your otherwise person-less photo" - i don't see a person in this picture... oh yes, i do now! changing the score, too!
