This place is a mudflats in Xiapu, china, is famous for kelp production. the kelp is dried by hanging to those bamboo sticks during the months of april to june. I was there last week, and in the morning it was all water till half the height of those bamboo sticks, by evening the water receded because of the full moon time? may be, and the scene is like this.

thank you, i was there waiting for like an hour just for some person or a boat to come in to the frame, and towards the end lot of fishermen were there. i choose this frame as single person is making it more interesting than few of them

its a place where they do kelp (seaweed) production. i updated it in the decscription. regarding the theme, the canal is parallel and never meets in reality, but appears to meet in the pic and hence i choose this entry as i wanted something different to the routine pics we will get to see of a vanishing point. Thank you for the comment.
